This was a short trip to have bit of a fish and stay a night or two. It was 30/62013 so a tad nippy. Tuross Lake and River are a great fishing destination with plenty of flathead. On this trip we didn’t catch too many but the calm waters and the clear blue skies were just spot on. Although not the best cuisine money can buy, the Boat Shed in the off season is a great spot to sit and have a bite in between the morning and afternoon session of fishing. On the way back to Sydney, there is always the Innes Boat Shed for fish and chips at Batemans Bay.
