On holiday at Noosa targeting species which we don’t usually get in the Shire. The main target was Giant Trevally and we got to the jetty at 5:45am to give us the best chance to nab one of these powerful fish. Boyd Kaan got on to one as planned but it may have been me trying to get the footage that let him down. This was certainy the huge one that got away. Having said that, in the evening we had a field day with Hairtail. Vicious and ugly looking – especially in the dark of the night, but amazing eating. so tasty.
